Bush Chooses Judge Sam Alito

Today, Monday (as I told you, lol) President Bush has nominated Judge Sam Alito to be on the Supreme Court. The Democrats already have their fangs out, while the Conservatives are happy.

Judge Alito has been on the 3rd District Court of Appeals since 1990. He has a nickname of "Scalito" and "Scalia-lite." He is a polite, reserved and even-tempered man. He is a former prosecutor and government attorney who has argued 12 cases before the Supreme Court.
Wasting no time, Alito went to the Capitol shortly after the announcement to meet Senate leaders. Accompanied by two of his children and Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, Alito paused first to pay his respects at the coffin of the late civil rights pioneer Rosa Parks in the Capitol rotunda. The rest of The Monitor's article is just silly. Of course it is an AP article, so go figure. lol. Have a nice day.

After Quake, Terrorists Hit India

There has been a series of Indo-Pak peace talks over the past 2 1/2 years. They have been moving slowly along, but with the largest earthquake that caused over 80,000 deaths, the talks may not be negatively affectly affected by today's 3 simultaneous bombs in the town of Delhi, India. Fifty-eight were killed, and many more were injured, so far.

These terrorist attacks are thought to have been the work of separatists in the Kasmir area whom do not approve of any peace in the area.

The Pawtucker Times online has a wonderful account of the day's happenings. Not that it was a wonderful day. Indeed, it was anything but! It is just covered well. Video included.

More Photo Doctoring and the left wing agenda

I first heard about this story several days ago in Little Green Footballs by way of Orbusmax. Apparently Shoreline Community College , a brief 15 minute drive from the left coast city of Seattle, is having an Artist and Lecture Series in November. Shoreline Community College invited Ward Churchill to speak at the event.

Either they (Shoreline Community College) or Churchill supplied a very interesting promotion picture for the event. The only thing is, the picture appears to be altered from Churchill's original gun toting picture. The left coast liberals of King County, tripped over their feet again. Imagine a gun toting radial appearing at a left coast agenda affair. After national attention, Shoreline has done the "right thing" by pulling the picture from their website.
It was those darn conservatives who spoiled a left coast agenda art and lecture show. Darn, darn, darn the conservative right.
And, to think that no one would catch the manipulation. Thank goodness for the blogosphere. This whole thing started when a guy named Michael alerted a great blogging site Little Green Footballs. Orbusmax picked it up and published the original story, locally. World Net Daily caught wind of the story and gave it national exposure. And, the MSM was sleeping at it's keyboard. Perhaps it was not newsworthy for such an elite bunch of yahoos.

My questions are: Is this another one of Churchill's sleigh of hands, or, is it a manipulation by the left coast liberal agenda? Did the college doctor the photograph of gun-toting Ward Churchill? And, to backtrack to earlier this week, why did USA Today alter a photograph of Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice? Is all of this a part of the left wing agenda to alter perceptions and public opinion?

Libs advising President on Mainstream values?

I received Rick Robert's newsletter this afternoon that included an article: Liberals are advising the President the he must nominate someone with Mainstream Values. That got me to thinking. How does our most liberal agenda know what mainstream values are.

To me, a jurist with "mainstream values" is a person who is fair-minded and represents a constitutionally centered approach to our laws and values. However, I have seen our black robes legislate from the bench a freedom from religion, not freedom of religion as is clearly outlined in our constitution. Is not mainstream values all about protecting life, marriage, family, faith and freedom? Liberals are trying to redefine marriage and overhauling the rest. What was once right is now wrong. Liberal tolerance and political correctness is neither liberal nor tolerant. And, political correctness is only correct if you are on the side of those who define correctness.

Rick posed a question "Do they even know what that is?" You can read more on Rick's take on mainstream and the liberal agenda. Link to Rick Roberts Mainstream Values

Nearly 3,000 Iraqi Police Graduate from Training

There has been a lot of progress in Iraq and it will take time for the mission to be completed. Iraq is fighting for its right to exist. The Iraqi people are stepping up to the plate. Their military is getting stronger, their police are being trained, and the Iraqis have been able to cast their popular vote two times already. Our mainstream media (MSN) focuses on the negative as does our most liberal left agenda. The liberal left would like to see Iraq fail because that justifies their hating President Bush and wanting to see him fail. What you have is "Sports Bar Politics."

Anyway, just wanted to share with you some positive news from Iraq compliments of: American Forces Press Service

WASHINGTON, Oct. 28, 2005 – A total of 2,939 new police officers graduated from basic police training courses throughout Iraq and in Jordan this week, military officials reported…Nine hundred twenty-four recruits graduated from the Baghdad Police College; 190 from the Sulaymaniyah Regional Academy; 244 from the Mosul Police Academy; and 1,581 from the Jordan International Police Training Center, Officials said…..To date, more than 50,800 Iraqi police have completed the basic training course, officials said. An additional 37,000 police officers have completed a three-week Transitional Integration Program developed for serving police with little or no basic training…More (From a Multinational Security Transition Command Iraq news release)

Great news!! I received permission from the promotions office coordinator of Rick Roberts's 760 KFMB AM Radio to post Rick's Cindy Sheehan Blog on my site. Rick hosted another talk show host radio station yesterday afternoon and I was fortunate to catch his show.

FREEDOM ISN’T FREE

October 26th, 2005

With Cindy Sheehan once again exploiting the deaths of our proud military soldiers, I feel it necessary to give everyone a refresher course on why the war in Iraq was imperative in the fight against terrorism.First, let’s start with how Democrats got us into the 9-11 mess to begin with:

As heard on the show this morning….

How 9-11 happened By Ann Coulter

PRESIDENT CARTER, DEMOCRAT

In 1979, President Jimmy Carter allowed the Shah of Iran to be deposed by a mob of Islamic fanatics. A few months later, Muslims stormed the U.S. Embassy in Iran and took American Embassy staff hostage.

Carter retaliated by canceling Iranian visas. He eventually ordered a disastrous and humiliating rescue attempt, crashing helicopters in the desert.

PRESIDENT REAGAN, REPUBLICAN

The day of Reagan’s inauguration, the hostages were released.

In 1982, the U.S. Embassy in Beirut was bombed by Muslim extremists. President Reagan sent U.S. Marines to Beirut.

In 1983, the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut were blown up by Muslim extremists.
Reagan said the U.S. would not surrender, but Democrats threw a hissy fit, introducing a resolution demanding that our troops be withdrawn. Reagan caved in to Democrat caterwauling in an election year and withdrew our troops – bombing Syrian-controlled areas on the way out. Democrats complained about that, too.

In 1985, an Italian cruise ship, the Achille Lauro, was seized and a 69-year-old American was shot and thrown overboard by Muslim extremists.

Reagan ordered a heart-stopping mission to capture the hijackers after “the allies” promised them safe passage. In a daring operation, American fighter pilots captured the hijackers and turned them over to the Italians – who then released them to safe harbor in Iraq.

On April 5, 1986, a West Berlin discotheque frequented by U.S. servicemen was bombed by Muslim extremists from the Libyan Embassy in East Berlin, killing an American.

Ten days later, Reagan bombed Libya, despite our dear ally France refusing the use of their airspace. Americans bombed Gadhafi’s residence, killing his daughter, and dropped a bomb on the French Embassy “by mistake.”

Reagan also stoked a long, bloody war between heinous regimes in Iran and Iraq. All this was while winning a final victory over Soviet totalitarianism.

PRESIDENT BUSH I, MODERATE REPUBLICAN

In December 1988, a passenger jet, Pan Am Flight 103, was bombed over Lockerbie, Scotland, by Muslim extremists.

President-elect George Bush claimed he would continue Reagan’s policy of retaliating against terrorism, but did not. Without Reagan to gin her up, even Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher went wobbly, saying there would be no revenge for the bombing.
In 1990, Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait.

In early 1991, Bush went to war with Iraq. A majority of Democrats opposed the war, and later complained that Bush didn’t “finish off the job” with Saddam.

PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON, DEMOCRAT

In February 1993, the World Trade Center was bombed by Muslim fanatics, killing five people and injuring hundreds. Clinton, advised by Dick Clarke, did nothing.

In October 1993, 18 American troops were killed in a savage firefight in Somalia. The body of one American was dragged through the streets of Mogadishu as the Somalian hordes cheered. Clinton responded by calling off the hunt for Mohammed Farrah Aidid and ordering our troops home. Osama bin Laden later told ABC News: “The youth … realized more than before that the American soldier was a paper tiger and after a few blows ran in defeat.”

In November 1995, five Americans were killed and 30 wounded by a car bomb in Saudi Arabia set by Muslim extremists. Clinton, advised by Dick Clarke, did nothing.

In June 1996, a U.S. Air Force housing complex in Saudi Arabia was bombed by Muslim extremists. Clinton, advised by Dick Clarke, did nothing.

Months later, Saddam attacked the Kurdish-controlled city of Erbil. Clinton, advised by Dick Clarke, lobbed some bombs into Iraq hundreds of miles from Saddam’s forces.

In November 1997, Iraq refused to allow U.N. weapons inspections to do their jobs and threatened to shoot down a U.S. U-2 spy plane. Clinton, advised by Dick Clarke, did nothing.

In February 1998, Clinton threatened to bomb Iraq, but called it off when the United Nations said no.On Aug. 7, 1998, U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were bombed by Muslim extremists. Clinton, advised by Dick Clarke, did nothing.

On Aug. 20, Monica Lewinsky appeared for the second time to testify before the grand jury.Clinton responded by bombing Afghanistan and Sudan, severely damaging a camel and an aspirin factory. On Dec. 16, the House of Representatives
prepared to impeach Clinton the next day. Clinton retaliated by ordering major air strikes against Iraq, described by the New York Times as “by far the largest military action in Iraq since the end of the Gulf War in 1991.”

The only time Clinton decided to go to war with anyone in the vicinity of Muslim fanatics was in 1999 – when Clinton attacked Serbians who were fighting Islamic fanatics.

In October 2000, our warship, the USS Cole, was attacked by Muslim extremists. Clinton, advised by Dick Clarke, did nothing.

PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH, REPUBLICAN

Bush came into office telling his national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, he was “tired of swatting flies” – he wanted to eliminate al-Qaida.

On Sept. 11, 2001, when Bush had been in office for barely seven months, 3,000 Americans were murdered in a savage terrorist attack on U.S. soil by Muslim extremists.

Since then, Bush has won two wars against countries that harbored Muslim fanatics, captured Saddam Hussein, immobilized Osama bin Laden, destroyed al-Qaida’s base, and begun to create the only functioning democracy in the Middle East other than Israel. Democrats opposed it all – except their phony support for war with Afghanistan, which they immediately complained about and said would be a Vietnam quagmire. And now they claim to be outraged that in the months before 9-11, Bush did not do everything Democrats opposed doing after 9-11.

What a surprise.

———————
After 9-11 President Bush received reports from Russia that Saddam Hussein planned terrorist attacks on U.S. soil. Don’t be surprised if you’ve never heard of this. The mainstream media did nothing on it.

After this intelligence coupled with the hundreds of reports that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction, plus terrorist cells already in Iraq, naturally President Bush felt Saddam was a terrorist threat. And, after months of negotiations with Saddam, UN inspectors, and liberals, Bush decided we had to go to war.

It seems crazy to think that the Democrats would fight against this push to save American lives, much less now try to say that WMD’s in Iraq didn’t exist, but they have for the past 3 years. Many Democrat/Liberal leaders are on the record talking about the existence of WMD’s. But now that it’s politically advantageous, Liberals seem to have forgotten that they ever spoke of WMD’s. They are suffering from what we like to call Democratic Selective Amnesia…or DSA for short.

Here is a list of quotes:

“WE HAVE KNOWN FOR MANY YEARS THAT SADDAM HUSSEIN IS SEEKING AND DEVELOPING WMD’S”. - SEN. TED KENNEDY (D, MA) 9/27/2002

“I WILL BE VOTING TO GIVE THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES THE AUTHORITY TO USE FORCE - IF NECESSARY - TO DISARM SADDAM HUSSEIN BECAUSE I BELIEVE THAT A DEADLY ARSENAL OF WMD’S IN HIS HANDS IS A REAL AND GRAVE THREAT TO OUR SECURITY.” - SEN. JOHN F. KERRY (D, MA), 10/9/2002

“WE BEGIN WITH THE COMMON BELIEF THAT SADDAM HUSSEIN IS A TYRANT AND A THREAT TO THE PEACE AND STABILITY OF THE REGION. HE HAS IGNORED THE MANDATE OF THE UNITED NATIONS AND IS BUILDING WMD’S AND THE MEANS OF DELIVERING THEM.” - Sen. Carl Levin (D, MI) 9/19/2002

“WE KNOW THAT HE HAS STORED SECRET SUPPLIES OF BIOLOGICAL AND CHEMICAL WEAPONS THROUGHOUT HIS COUNTRY.”- AL GORE, 9/23/2002

“IRAQ’S SEARCH FOR WMD’S HAS PROVEN IMPOSSIBLE TO DETER AND WE SHOULD ASSUME THAT IT WILL CONTINUE FOR AS LONG AS SADDAM IS IN POWER.” - AL GORE, 9/23/2002

“THE LAST UN WEAPONS INSPECTORS LEFT IRAQ IN OCTOBER OF 1998. WE ARE CONFIDENT THAT SADDAM HUSSAIN RETAINS SOME STOCKPILES OF CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS, AND THAT HE HAS SINCE EMBARKED ON A CRASH COURSE TO BUILD UP HIS CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL WARFARE CAPABILITIES. INTELLIGENCE REPORTS INDICATE THAT HE IS SEEKING NUCLEAR WEAPONS…” - SEN. ROBERT BYRD (D, WV), 10/3/2002

“THERE IS UNMISTAKABLE EVIDENCE THAT SADDAM HUSSEIN IS WORKING AGGRESSIVELY TO DEVELOP NUCLEAR WEAPONS AND WILL LIKELY HAVE NUCLEAR WEAPONS WITHIN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS… WE ALSO SHOULD REMEMBER WE HAVE ALWAYS UNDERESTIMATED THE PROGRESS SADDAM HAS MADE IN DEVELOPMENT OF WMD’S.”- SEN. JAY ROCKEFELLER (D, WV), 10/10/2002

“HE HAS SYSTEMATICALLY VIOLATED, OVER THE COURSE OF THE PAST 11 YEARS, EVERY SIGNIFICANT UN RESOLUTION THAT HAS DEMANDED THAT HE DISARM AND DESTROY HIS CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS, AND ANY NUCLEAR CAPACITY. THIS HE HAS REFUSED TO DO.”- REP. HENRY WAXMAN (D, CA), 10/10/2002

“IN THE FOUR YEARS SINCE THE INSPECTORS LEFT, INTELLIGENCE REPORTS SHOW THAT SADDAM HUSSEIN HAS WORKED TO REBUILD HIS CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS STOCK, HIS MISSILE DELIVERY CAPABILITY, AND HIS NUCLEAR PROGRAM. HE HAS ALSO GIVEN AID, COMFORT, AND SANCTUARY TO TERRORISTS, INCLUDING AL QAEDA MEMBERS… IT IS CLEAR, HOWEVER, THAT IF LEFT UNCHECKED, SADDAM HUSSEIN WILL CONTINUE TO INCREASE HIS CAPACITY TO WAGE BIOLOGICAL AND CHEMICAL WARFARE, AND WILL KEEP TRYING TO DEVELOP NUCLEAR WEAPONS.”- SEN. HILLARY CLINTON (D, NY), 10/10/2002

“WE ARE IN POSSESSION OF WHAT I THINK TO BE COMPELLING EVIDENCE THAT SADDAM HUSSEIN HAS, AND HAS HAD FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS, A DEVELOPING CAPACITY FOR THE PRODUCTION AND STORAGE OF WMD’S.”- SEN. BOB GRAHAM (D, FL), 12/8/2002

“WITHOUT QUESTION, WE NEED TO DISARM SADDAM HUSSEIN. HE IS A BRUTAL, MURDEROUS DICTATOR, LEADING AN OPPRESSIVE REGIME… HE PRESENTS A PARTICULARLY GRIEVOUS THREAT BECAUSE HE IS SO CONSISTENTLY PRONE TO MISCALCULATION … AND NOW HE IS MISCALCULATING AMERICA’S RESPONSE TO HIS CONTINUED DECEIT AND HIS CONSISTENT GRASP FOR WMD’S … SO THE THREAT OF SADDAM HUSSEIN WITH WMD’S IS REAL”.- SEN. JOHN. F. KERRY (D, MA), 1/23/2003

SIMPLY UNBELIEVEABLE…

Amazing how most of the Democratic Party has come down with a severe case of Democratic Selective Amnesia . They try to blame President Bush for lying about WMD’s in Iraq and are accusing our President of lying to the American people to justify the war when they themselves knew they existed and said such.

Here are some more quotes:

“ONE WAY OR THE OTHER, WE ARE DETERMINED TO DENY IRAQ THE CAPACITY TO DEVELOP WMD’S AND THE MISSILES TO DELIVER THEM. THAT IS OUR BOTTOM LINE”- PRESIDENT CLINTON, FEB 4, 1998

“IF SADDAM REJECTS PEACE AND WE HAVE TO USE FORCE, OUR PURPOSE IS CLEAR. WE WANT TO SERIOUSLY DIMINISH THE THREAT POSED BY IRAQ’S WMD PROGRAM.”- PRESIDENT CLINTON, FEB. 17, 1998

“IRAQ IS A LONG WAY FROM (HERE), BUT WHAT HAPPENS THERE MATTERS A GREAT DEAL HERE. FOR THE RISKS THAT THE LEADERS OF A ROGUE STATE WILL USE NUCLEAR, CHEMICAL OR BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS AGAINST US OR OUR ALLIES IS THE GREATEST SECURITY THREAT WE FACE.”- MADELINE ALBRIGHT, FEB 18, 1998

“HE WILL USE THOSE WMD’S AGAIN, AS HE HAS TEN TIMES SINCE 1983.”- SANDY BERGER, CLINTON NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR, 2/18/98

“(WE) URGE YOU, AFTER CONSULTING WITH CONGRESS, AND CONSISTENT WITH THE U.S. CONSTITUTION AND LAWS, TO TAKE NECESSARY ACTIONS (INCLUDING, IF APPROPRIATE, AIR AND MISSILE STRIKES ON SUSPECT IRAQI SITES) TO RESPOND EFFECTIVELY TO THE THREAT POSED BY IRAQ’S REFUSAL TO END ITS WMD’S PROGRAM.”-LETTER TO PRESIDENT CLINTON, SIGNED BY SENATORS CARL LEVIN, TOM DASCHLE, JOHN KERRY, AND OTHER DEMOCRATS OCT. 9, 1998

“SADDAM HUSSEIN HAS BEEN ENGAGED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF WMD TECHNOLOGY WHICH IS A THREAT TO COUNTRIES IN THE REGION AND HE HAS MADE A MOCKERY OF THE WEAPONS INSPECTION PROCESS.”- REP. NANCY PELOSI (D, CA) DEC 16, 1998

“HUSSEIN HAS ….CHOSEN TO SPEND HIS MONEY ON BUILDING WMD’S AND PALACES FOR HIS CRONIES.”- MADELINE ALBRIGHT, CLINTON SECRETARY OF STATE, 11/10/99

“THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT….SADDAM HUSSEIN HAS INVIGORATED HIS WEAPONS PROGRAMS. REPORTS INDICATE THAT BIOLOGICAL, CHEMICAL AND NUCLEAR PROGRAMS CONTINUE APACE AND MAY BE BACK TO PRE-GULF WAR STATUS. IN ADDITION, SADDAM CONTINUES TO REDEFINE DELIVERY SYSTEMS AND IS DOUBTLESS USING THE COVER OF ILLICIT MISSILE PROGRAMS TO DEVELOP LONGER-RANGE MISSILES THAT WILL THREATEN THE U.S. AND OUR ALLIES.”- LETTER TO PRESIDENT BUSH, SIGNED BY SEN. BOB GRAHAM (D, FL) AND OTHERS, 12/5/2001
So now the Democrats say President Bush lied, that there never were Weapons of Mass Destruction, and that Bush only went to War for Oil? Sound like a severe case of Democratic Selective Amnesia.

There is an article today in the Wall Street Journal's opinionjournal.com that is rather chilling, if you have not been following Ms. Rosett's hard, long, and relentless work. She is an example of how to be a great journalist.

She has uncovered a tie between some of their business dealings and ties with al Qaeda. Please read her article today, if you care about the future of the USA. It is very insightful and scary. Thank you, and have a great day.
The Chicago White Sox have swept the World Series. Four games and it's all over. I'd like to make a few observations.

1. It could have been anyone's win on all four games.
2. It was a very riveting 4 games.
3. It was nice to see some "normal" teams play for a change.
4. Houston Astros played well, and they will be a contender for next year as well.

Congratulations White Sox fans. Great series, White Sox and Astros. Thank you.
Today Miers withdrew her nomination to the Supreme Court upon continuing pressure from the comservatives whom worked so hard to re-elect President Bush. He has promised to quickly select a replacement.

Senate Democrats are accusing the president of bowing to mounting pressure from the "radical right wing of the Republican Party."

The Eagle has a different opinion about this action. If you would like a good laugh to show your relief and understanding of why this happened, go read it. Have a good day.

Mrs. Rosa Lee Parks died today of natural causes in her Detroit, Michigan home. She will always be remembered for her refusal to give her seat on the bus to a white man.

In 1955, Jim Crow laws (which had been in place since the end of the Civil War) were still alive in our country. 1955. Many people have the wrong impression that she was just tired, so she didn't want to get up. This is grossly mistaken. She did not get up, because she believed that everyone had the right to sit where they wanted. And she is right.

This started a 381 day bus strike. No black people rode the bus. I'll bet that hurt their pockets. Good for all of you! This is an injustice I am very grateful to Rosa Parks I did not have to grow up to learn.

I was fortunate to grow up in a home and country where we were taught that all people have worth and to respect them. All people are human. All people deserve freedom. All people bleed red. Yes. I was one of the lucky ones. This is not to say that everything is just peachy now. It is not, but it is a lot better.

Rosa Parks's seemingly small act of civil disobedience brought the Civil Rights movement to the fore. It culminated in 1964 with the signing of the federal Civil Rights Act, which bans the discrimination of people because their race. [read more].

God bless you, Mrs. Parks, and may you rest in peace.
I have said all this before, but, I do not want to leave any loose ends on this International and Foreign Court Jurisdiction thing. It sounds to me that the Canadian courts still are pursing it (the criminal case). Kind of like the Spanish Court issuing an arrest warrant for those three United States Army tank soldiers who fired on the New Palestinian Hotel and inadvertently killed the journalist and camera man in 2003. The foreign court can make wacky rulings.

As reported by the Associated Press last week, a Spanish judge issues International Arrest Warrants for three United States service members whose tank fired on a Baghdad hotel during the Iraq war that killed a Spanish journalist and a Ukrainian cameraman, a court official said Wednesday. Spain conceded that it will be difficult to arrest those three individuals because they are not in Spain. Apparently, prior requests to interview those three individuals, Sgt. Shawn Gibson, cap. Philip Wolford and Lt. Col. Philip de Camp, whose tank fired on the Hotel Palestine in April 2003, were not granted and the United States did not respond to Spanish requests. The article also indicated that on of the military personnel, De Camp, said that the United States two military investigations and one investigation by the Committee to Protect Journalists had exonerated all three men.

Apparently Spain can prosecute individuals who commit crimes against Spanish citizens abroad if there is no investigation regarding the alleged crime. In news release by Committee to Protect Journalists released in 2003:

Quote: “A Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) investigation into the incident—based on interviews with about a dozen reporters who were at the scene, including two embedded journalists who monitored the military radio traffic before and after the shelling occurred—suggests that attack on the journalists, while not deliberate, was avoidable. CPJ has learned that Pentagon officials, as well as commanders on the ground in Baghdad, knew that the Palestine Hotel was full of international journalists and were intent on not hitting it. However, these senior officers apparently failed to convey their concern to the tank commander who fired on the hotel.”

The Spanish judge appeared to have discounted United States military investigations and also discounted the investigation conducted by Committee to Protect Journalists which is contrary to Spanish Law. Guess those liberals over there (Spain) do the same irrational and wacky things our liberal lawyers and judges do over here in the United States. Sounds to me that Spain may be splitting straws on this case.Back to Vancouver Canada; guess that the courts in Vancouver will start hearing this case in November. Where it goes from there is anyone’s guess. Theoretically, if the court rules against our President, it is a mute issue, unless he visits the province of British Columbia

Now I would not discount the European Union and the United Nations in general, and many of our adversaries as they start to get together. With the entire yahoo liberals out there are trying to start this "Global Village" concept. When there is liberalism, you better believe there is a good old socialist trying to figure out how to take away rights.

Case in point, that was not really covered by our MSM on October 6th,"Breaking America's grip on the net"By Kieren McCarthy, Thursday October 6, 2005, Posted in The Guardian

After troubled negotiations in Geneva, the US may be forced to relinquish control of the internet to a coalition of governments....Hendon explained the EU had decided to end the US government's unilateral control of the internet and put in place a new body that would now run this revolutionary communications medium..... A number of countries represented in Geneva, including Brazil, China, Cuba, Iran and several African states, insisted the US give up control, but it refused.....so the EU took a bold step and proposed changes....There are still dozens of unanswered questions but all the answers are pointing the same way: international governments deciding the internet's future. The internet will never be the same again. Read More

So, now we got the EU and our adversaries ganging up together to get control over what they want along with the world court, Spanish Court, and other foreign courts.

Canada is still basically ok. I doubt that the criminal case against President Bush is going to go anywhere, THIS TIME. But, you darn well know that the liberal left will be back to mess with President Bush, raise cane with our war on terror and do damage to us protecting ourselves.

And the liberal lefts are also a bunch of appeasers and apologist that would just as soon Dhimmitude an agreement with the Osama's "religion of peace." The EU, our adversaries, and many third world countries are threatened by our free and open society. We have a lot of rat female dogs out there still saying it was our fault that 9/11 happened. So, the wacko left is trying to force what they can and try to knock us off the hill when they can.

These yahoos and or liberal dhimmis will keep trying to bend and mold the laws to global village. This is a good lesson on how these liberal yahoos going to do it, through liberal courts. Just take a look, we got the 9th "circus court" in California and all the other yahoo liberal boloney that comes out of other courts around our country.

The courts are still trying to legislate us out of the war on terror and put a crimp in how we deal with terrorist. Remember our “Dirty Bomb California Gang Banger Padilla” almost walked because of liberal courts. This global village crowd would rather do things with world consensus and Kumby Ya. We better be on guard and stay away from the world court and global village.

I wonder how many of our own congressmen and senators support global village and world court rules? Dhimmitude runs deep. That question requires more research and will have to wait for another blog later on down the road.

Vancouver (CANADA) lawyer has won a procedural victory in her attempt to prosecute U.S. President George W. Bush under the Criminal Code

Now from the wacko libs north of the border in Canada. I kid you not, this was not even peeped in the liberal MSM on the correct side of the border. It is bad enough living in the Pacific Northwest, "left coast," I also have to live south of the biggest "liberalsville" that I have ever seen. Living here is sometimes sad, sorry, and at times comical with the antics of the liberal left. I found this wacky article through Orbusmax , kind of a Drudge Report of the Pacific Northwest. With friends like these Canadian lawyers, et al, who needs enemies.

Folks, these Canadian leftists north of our border and are talking like this about Our President. Thought you'd like to read it, stratch your heads, and perhaps comment on the wonderful world of liberalism and the mental disorders that go along with their disease:

Bush publication ban lifted

Bahraini Journalist: Not Since the Nazi Era Has There Been Anything Like Al-Qaeda's Declaration of War on the Shi'ites in Iraq

In an article on the liberal website www.elaph.com, 'Omran Salman, a Bahraini journalist living in the U.S., criticizes the Sunni silence over the extermination of the Shi'ites in Iraq.

The following are excerpts:(1)

"Aren't the Arabs Ashamed When Some of Them Massacre Iraqi Citizens?"

"When the Abu Ghraib prison scandal broke, there was not a single Arab who did not express the opinion that it was a despicable, mean [act] contrary to humanist values. They are right about this. But these people swiftly forgot their humanism and sealed their lips when the Jordanian terrorist Abu Mus'ab Al-Zarqawi declared war against the Shi'ites in Iraq, and began to dispatch his booby-trapped soldiers to blow themselves up among children, women, and the elderly. None of those [who denounced the Abu Ghraib scandal] uttered a word and none shed a tear for the hundreds and thousands of Iraqis being murdered and whose bodies are being mutilated.

"The first to denounce [the Abu Ghraib scandal] were the Americans themselves, who thought that the acts of some of their soldiers distorted the image of the U.S. and served as a mark of shame...

"But don't the Arabs feel an even greater sense of shame when some of them kill and massacre Iraqi citizens? Don't the rest [of the people] feel pangs of conscience when they try to come up with excuses and justifications for the murderers and criminals whom they call the 'resistance?' How can someone outraged at the torture of or disrespect for another person be silent and ignore [Al-Zarqawi's] declaration of the [program of] extermination of millions of people because of their sectarian affiliation?

"How is one to [describe] the Arab silence [in general] and the Sunni [silence] in particular in light of the murder of Shi'ite Iraqis and their intimidation in the most despicable and base of ways?... After all, the murderers declare their positions publicly, brag about them, and consider them Jihad for the sake of Allah. [Even] if what has happened does not stir up the regular Arab citizen - who has been brainwashed, and whose will has been totally eroded - how is one to explain [this same position when it is adopted by] politicians and members of the media?"

Al-Qaeda is Waging a War of Collective Extermination Against the Shi'ites in Iraq

"What can we say in light of the attitude of the Arab media [in general] and the Arab satellite channels in particular, which report the killings, the slaughters, and the suicide bombings among Iraqi citizens coolly, treating them as routine events [and] as part of what has been termed 'the series of [acts of] violence in Iraq?'

"The war being waged by the Al-Qaeda organization and the terrorists against the Shi'ites in Iraq is among the acts of collective extermination, which is rare in modern history. There has been no case in the past in which somebody has declared a similar war against a race or a group as a whole, except [for the case of] Nazi Germany against the Jews...

"The Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq and similar [bodies] in Arab countries have issued dozens of fatwas about current political issues, but have not issued even a single fatwa declaring bin Laden, Al-Zawahiri, or Al-Zarqawi to be infidels because of their killing of the Shi'ites.

"The entire world is witness to [the fact] that the Arabs and the Sunnis are [remaining] silent and standing idly by - and some are even welcoming - the cold-blooded murder of the Shi'ites in Iraq. They will bear this mark of shame for all eternity..."

"The Sunnis Have Persecuted the Shi'ites [And] Declared Them Infidels, and Treat Them as Second-Class Citizens"

"America, at least, has always had the courage to acknowledge its mistakes. It admitted [its] crime of slavery against the blacks, and it took action, and continues to take action, to make amends for that historical crime. But the Sunnis have persecuted the Shi'ites, declared them infidels, and continue to treat them in their countries as second-class citizens. It seems that they are not making do with that, and have returned today to complete what they started in previous centuries.

"In the past they did not acknowledge their persecution of the Shi'ites - and here they are, in the 21st century, continuing their massacres and crimes against them, in full view of the world. Do these people not feel the shame and disgrace that shroud them?"

TV’S Gloomy Take On Iraq

I was down in Fresno for the past few days, and unfortunately did not know the radio stations to well. So, I scanned the dial several times looking for some familiar favorites. I stumbled across Air America. Boy, listening to that was like listening to a rant from a crazy person. How depressing the left seems to be with their "hate Bush, blame the military, and other biased and negative reporting. You know, Mainstream Media (MSM) is not to far off from Air America on how they report the news or their ideology.

This morning, after I returned home late last night, I was thinking about how gloomy MSM is when they discuss anything related to the Bush administration. It is like they hope that President Bush fails at everything. Giving President Bush credit for anything is like giving venereal disease as far that the left coast is concerned.

Anyway, I was checking into Media Research Center website. Lo and behold, a news column written by Brent Bozell. Bozell's column mirrored my thoughts, but, was written far more eloquently that I could write. Guess that is why he is a journalist and I am just an opinionated blogger.

How many constitutional referedums has occurred in the Middle East had in the past 100 years? 6 - 12 years ago who would have believed the phrase "Arab Constitutional Democracy?" Personally, I would have thought that we were all on drugs if I had heard those words uttered.

Brent Bozell's column is a made to order reflection of our most liberal and biased press:

They say that news is a man-bites-dog story. In the Middle East, how common is a constitutional referendum? Have they had one in Egypt? Saudi Arabia? Syria? Jordan? Until the last few years, the phrase "Arab constitutional democracy" sounded like a pipe dream or an oxymoron. But the TV news is addicted to the daily bombing. Terrorists are the real assignment editors of American TV news from Iraq.

You really should read Bozells' column and and add your comments on our most liberal and biased press. I cannot take the credit for Bozell's work, he's a lot sharper than I. However, it sure sounds like he has hit the nail on the head on this one. You gotta read Bozell's News Column. Selective reporting is the way of the day.

Foreign Court Jurisdiction over United States Citizens

As reported by the Associated Press today, a Spanish judge issues international arrest warrants for three United States service members whose tank fired on a Baghdad hotel during the Iraq war that killed a Spanish journalist and a Ukrainian cameraman, a court official said Wednesday.

In a news release by Committee to Protect Journalists released in 2003:

"A Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) investigation into the incident—based on interviews with about a dozen reporters who were at the scene, including two embedded journalists who monitored the military radio traffic before and after
the shelling occurred—suggests that attack on the journalists, while not deliberate, was avoidable. CPJ has learned that Pentagon officials, as well as commanders on the ground in Baghdad, knew that the Palestine Hotel was full of international journalists and were intent on not hitting it.However, these senior officers apparently failed to convey their concern to the tank commander who fired on the hotel."
The Spanish judge appears to discount United States military investigations and also discounted the investigation conducted by Committee to Protect Journalists. Sounds to me that Spain may be splitting straws on this case.

Recall, not long ago, the World Court assumed jurisdiction over a case (not related to the above case) when it issued its first World Court Arrest Warrant. At the time, I pointed out that we may be headed down a slippery slope on the issuing international arrest warrants by foreign courts or the World Court.

It appears to me that there is potential for abuse of power with other countries imposing jurisdiction and the world court imposing jurisdiction. The UN cannot even get to the bottom of the corrupt UN oil for food program, let alone administer objective court hearings.

In 2003 Howard N. Meyer, in an article in History News Network posed a question that isn't it time we rejoin the world court? Apparently we (United States) left in 1986 because we were concerned with jurisdictional matters and did not want to relinquish sovereignty over of our citizens. Mr. Meyer is a liberalist who would rather go along with world opinion rather than state sovereignty. Is there a problem with liberalists going along with world opinion rather than state sovereinty.

If it is possible for barratry to occur with other countries trying to prosecute our citizens, should we blindly go along with the UN, World Court, or other foreign court proceedings? Is Howard N. Meyers on track or off track? How do you feel about compulsory jurisdiction? Could world court or other foreign court jurisdiction result in frivolous or politically motivated requests for prosecution? In addition, should what went on during the heat of battle, as the investigation of Committee to Protect Journalists pointed out was not deliberate, be treated as a war crime?

Smash has captured in print only a minute, but compelling, testimony against Saddam Hussein. He also has two very good pictures. One of Saddam, one of the people he used to torture laughing at him. It is quite a sight.

Today is the first day of the end of his life. He showed up for trial belligerent as ever. He plead not guilty, and by jove I think he believes it! Please go read it. It isn't too long, and you need to stay on top of the issues. Don't let the press spoon-feed you misinformation! Now go!
As I was listening to the Tony Snow Radio Program, they were discussing the trial of Saddam Hussein. Many people are more interested in this than the elections, which begs the question: Has everyone conceded we've won?

That, however, is not my point. Most people may not have taken notice like one of his callers has. As the Judge was pointing his finger at Saddam, telling him to sit down because he would not give his name, on the tip of his finger it was purple! What a smack down!

Thank you for being so observant, caller. If anyone else heard this, please share with me his first name so I may give him due credit. Just trying to fill in the holes...spider holes at that...that may have slipped past us if not for those well trained eyes. Thanks! Have a great day everyone.

I have 10 separate articles to report about protests and unrest alone. In such a repressive area of the world, one can only imagine what is really happening!

There was a protest at Najafabad University. This story is being reported by Iran Press News. The guards at the entrance forbade the females to enter saying they must now use a different, seperate, entrance. Around 11:30 am, some people gathered in the hall and started chanting, "Shame on you Despots, release the Universities from your claws - Shame on you Despots, release the students from your claws."
The head of the guard unit came forward and told the students: "Keep it up and later you'll pay the price." This enflamed peoples' emotions even more...
Sunday the guards went looking for the activists. If they are found, they will need our help. Please read the rest.

Students of the Abbasspour University of Water and Power Industry protested the treatment of the Guards toward their dress. Shah-Mohammadi was quoted as saying, "The illicit behavior of the guards in the Abbasspour University with regard to the type of clothing worn by the students, is oppressive and despotic."

Many governmental bureaus in the Province of Qeshm and the central police command offices were attacked. The Governor was also attacked and severely beaten.

SMCCDI reported drivers of buses protested their poor working conditions by not collecting the money from the passengers. They also reported many women protested in "Enghelab" square about their poor economic and social conditions. Also, students of Beheshti University of Tehran protested against the repressive measures and poor conditions.
And finally, Iran Press News added that the Beheshti University students then set their dorm on fire. ISNA published photos.
I fear for these students. Please pray for them to receive liberty and freedom. Here are a few more articles of interest:

SMCCDI reported that another young man was killed by the Islamic regime's security forces in the Greater Tehran area, Friday.
SMCCDI reported that a riot took place, on Saturday, in the Island of Gheshm located in the Persian Gulf.
Agence France Presse reported that witnesses claim, Iranian police shot and killed a motorist after he failed to stop when spotted eating during holy month of Ramadan. Winston, The Spirit of Man reported on the IRGC units nightly live fire exercises in the mountains of eastern Tehran.
There is much unrest. One must wonder, how long can a country stand when it is divided so terribly against it because of the crimes against it's leaders? Not too much longer, I pray. Go Iran!

Local man caught up in al-Qaida case

Obtained From the Seattle Post Intelligencer: Another local connection alleged! Federal authorities are trying to deport a Kirkland man, claiming the Iraqi immigrant tried to help one of Osama bin Laden's top lieutenants enter the country before the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Is this Iraqi immigrant, Sam Malkandi, a knowing co-conspirator or an unwitting, well-meaning pawn?

There are questions that need to be answered. Hope we get some answers soon. As indicated in the news release, " Malkandi said in a court declaration that within a few months of arriving here, he met Ahmed Bawarth, a short, well-dressed Arabic-speaking man. In a scene out of a John le Carre spy novel, Malkandi said the man approached him one day in late 1998 while he and his family were visiting Northgate Mall."What makes this really interesting is that our local Iraqi immigrant allegedly spent a year in an Iranian jail before being granted asylum into the United States. He may have not been forthcoming on his immigration papers, and the man he is alleged to have been trying to get into the United States is no less than Tawfiq bin Attash the peg-legged al-Qaida planner of the USS Cole bombing in 2000. And, one of the planners of the 1998 embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania.

This case is really interesting and you will have to go the the Seattle Post Intelligencer for the rest of the story. Sounds like we may have some problems in our country. We could go into denial, not tell our citizens about these odd connections, and not upset the apple cart. This case has more curves than Lombard Street in San Francisco. Kind of like the Okie City Bomber story. But, there is no connection between our Okie and any known terrorist or radical organization. The FBI says so. Not much in the news about Sam or his deportation case, only a little note in our left leaning rag.

Ever Diligent, Ever Safe
Con Coughlin (filed 9/10/2005) writes a very disturbing article about the involvement of Iran into the Brittish Military area of Basra.

They have tried the Chamberlain route. Maybe now, they will understand the Iranian Regime desires nothing to do with the Brittish. For that matter, any Europeans!
Indeed, when The Sunday Telegraph two weeks ago revealed that agents working for the Revolutionary Guards had linked up with the Iraqi groups responsible for the attacks on British troops, the Foreign Office continued to insist that there was no firm evidence.

But now the cat is out of the bag. Not realising the sensitivity that Mr Straw attaches to Britain's dealings with Teheran, the unfortunate diplomat unwittingly strayed from his referendum brief and started laying into the Iranians with a gusto not seen in the British diplomatic service for decades.
The Iranian government's spin on this is to say that the Brittish government was using Sunnis covertly to destroy the talks. They also claim that they used bombs that were "perfected" by Hizbollah! Yes, the Iranian backed terrorist organization.

The message Iran is sending to Great Brittain is, "You want to confront us about our nuclear weapons? We have the right to blow you up!" Nice guys, eh? Please read the article by clicking on the author's name.

Update: The Scotland on Sunday is also making claims that Iran is trying to disrupt the progress in Iraq, and they want to turn it into another theocracy. A team has been sent to gather evidence.

The Observer reports that Tony Blair is now admitting, though tacitly, Iran is responsible for the deaths of 8 Soldiers.
Blair's accusations confirm that the British-secured zone, once praised as a triumph for the 'softly-softly' approach, is a model no more. In recent weeks death squads have kidnapped and murdered journalists, most famously Steven Vincent, an American freelance writer who had warned of Iranian infiltration of the police. Dozens of Iraqis have fallen victim to Iranian-backed militias.
I wonder if now they will realize you cannot appease terrorists? Also, I wonder if now they will open their eyes to the Iranian political prisoners and all the human rights offenses, and finally hear their voices? Even if they are from grave, they should all be heard. If not now, when?

Hat tip to Daily Briefings on Iran.

Hamas 'capable of US attacks

According to a WorldNetDaily article, "Hamas "capable of US attacks". The article also cited terrorism expert warning that Hamas has had agents and cells in the United States for several years. Late week WorldNetDaily had an exclusive interview with Hamas chief Mahmoud al-Zahar, in which he warned that President Bush's actions in the Middle East are "placing America in danger."

Apparently there was testimony to the U.S. Senate in February where FBI Director Robert Mueller stated, "Although it would be a major strategic shift for Hamas, its United States network is theoretically capable of facilitating acts of terrorism in the United States." I do not have the link for that testimony, but, it was cited in the article. Yossef Bodansky, a terror expert who served as director of the Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare, also uttered the same warning.

Here are addition links to previous World Net Daily stories regarding Hamas:
Hamas chief talks to WND
Hamas leader: Bush placing U.S. in danger

Hamas' West Bank battle plan exposed
Hamas leader: Gaza withdrawal 'victory'
Hamas admits to plan for more kidnappings
Hamas study predicts rocket war on Israel

Hamas capable of suicide bombings in Britain

One last comment: The Oklahoma City Bombing, so far unrelated to Hamas or any other Jihadist organization, seems to have taken another strange twist. The FBI and the bombers father originally denied any such suicide note. Well, lo and behold, now one has surfaced. Bloggers, Mark Tapscott Deskcopy and Jason Generation Why, have provide more information and raised some questions on the validity of the latest revelations of the bomber suicide theory.

Please read Mark and Jason's blogs regarding the Oklahoma suicide bombing:

Blogged from Micheal Yon's Dispatches

I signed up of these online dispatches whenever Michael posts. This guy is a very good journalist and has covered the war in Iraq in the most superb manner. Micheal gives some good news from what he saw first hand during the Iraqi Referendum. He also gives in update on the little Iraqi girl, Rhma, who underwent a heart operation. Great humanitarian story. In an earlier dispatch on the 13th, Micheal reports what is like to be an embeded jounrnalist and his experiences. This guy is well worth the visit. Boots on the ground is the only way to get informration on the Iraqi sitation. MSM can't get away from biased reporting. There is good news coming out of Iraq; the referendum and what our guys and gals are doing over there. Support the mission. Support our troops.

MEMRI Special Dispatch - Syria, October 17, 2005, No. 1008

Ghazi Kan'an - Second High Ranking Syrian Official to Commit Suicide in Bashar Al-Assad's Presidency

To view this Special Dispatch in HTML, visit http://www.memri.org/bin/opener_latest.cgi?ID=SD100805

I wonder what this means? Two Syrian officials in a matter of a couple days. This is significant. The winds of change are blowing. Which direction is the winds of change blowing and where will the shifting sands take the Middle East?

Syria is closely linked to the Palastinines and radials in Lebanon. I would take particular interest in keeping an eye on developments. Intrigue is mounting.

Iraq may be working out, but, where are the embers landing that will be the next flareup? Keep your ears tuned to MEMRI and the other good sources of information in the Middle East.

Mudville Gazette has a wonderful way for you to reach out and read all the news that interests you. There are many links to different articles for you to choose from at your pleasure. You may also send a trackback.

Let me just take a moment to speak about trackback etiquitte. When you use this, please remember to add the person (or people) you are tracking somewhere in your article. You may even acknowledge them at the end of an already written article by saying, "Also linked to..."

This way, your readers may choose to follow one or more of those links. After all, why should you be the only one who knows?!

Now that we've had a little chat about that, let's get back to the topic at hand. The reason this Dawn Patrol is such a great idea is because we could not possibly read all the news there is out there. This way, it is condensed. Also, we get to read people we may never have met otherwise.

There are different categories such as Afghanistan, Iraq, MSM, etc. You may also send your article for possible addition. Just make sure you acknowledge you have done so!

I really like the this site. I hope you will as well. Have a great day!
Iraqi polls have just closed. Slight firefight, but only 3 Iraqi Soldiers dead, 4 (?) injured. Voting continued. The news is outrageous here.

If it goes well in Iraq, that doesn't mean anything to these people. They seem to be consumed with how it will make President Bush look good.

Excuse me, but isn't it the Iraqi people who deserve a big round of appause? Can you stop your bashing for a moment, and comprehend what you have the PRIVILIGE to witness?!

Omar has much good news. I recommend you go to their site, instead of listening to the news here. It is very uplifting! I am so happy for all the Iraqis who desire their freedom, and all our men and women who helped them to achive it! Thank you.

This is a picture of the ballots being counted!

Update: Omar has the turnout levels recorded in all 18 provinces. This is the latest according to the electoral commission press conference.

Great job! I pray it is the right turnout for everyone. You have made all of us proud. Thank you.

There is much celebration going on here! This is the first time they feel as if it is the first time they have the opportunity to vote for the type of government they want. What an awesome experience! What an historic time in history. The gunshots are of joy, the loud talking is shouts of cheers, and there is an air of freedom running freely as the votes are being counted. Great job, everyone.

Interview with a potential suicide bomber, Arin Ahmed, June 2002

According the The Razor, the following article and link appeared in Ha'aretz Daily. The Razor stated that this article was "one of the year's best pieces of journalism ...... It deserves to be read and re-read again because it shows the evil of the "psychotic culture of death" that the Palestinians are subscribing to. "

I did a newspaper search to verify what The Razor had run, and found the article in Ha'aretz Daily archives, 20/06/2002, "A Near Death Experience" by Vered Levy-Barzilai. Below is a brief quote from the article.

Arin Ahmed: "I got out of the car. The place wasn't exactly like I'd seen on the map. I saw a lot of people, mothers with children, teenage boys and girls. I remembered an Israeli girl my age whom I used to be in touch with. I suddenly understood what I was about to do and I said to myself: How can I do such a thing? I changed my mind. Issam also had second thoughts, but they managed to convince him to go ahead. I saw him go and blow himself up........"I decided that I wasn't going to do it. They were very angry at me. They yelled at me the whole way back. And they also tried to send me to carry out another attack in Jerusalem. But I'd already changed my mind and given up the whole idea. I stayed at home, until your forces came and arrested me."

You can read the interview in The Razor at http://www.therazor.org/oldroot/Summer02/sbombinterview.htm

or, you can visit Ha'aretz Daily and read the original article as it appeared on June 20th 2002, http://www.haaretzdaily.com/hasen/pages/ShArt.jhtml?itemNo=178487.

I'll hold my comments back on this one for the time being. You really have to read it, ask yourselves some questions and come up with conclusions. Please post your impressing on Arin's story.
The Key to Jihadist Idealogy and Strategy

Recently, I came across an informative article, " The Key to Jihadist Ideology and Strategy." It was written by Lawrence Auster, in August 2004.

Visit the website http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=14660 to get his theory on Jihad and what they (Islamofascist) are trying to do. So much has been written about this subject in the past, I am not sure why our State Department, Federal Government and agencies, and the civilized world has not taken complete notice of IslamoFacism until now.

"In other words, the left believes that the Islamists hate us for our sins, and the right believes that they hate us for our virtues. Both sides commit the same narcissistic fallacy of thinking that the Islamist holy war against the West revolves solely around ourselves, around the moral drama of our goodness or our wickedness, rather than having something to do with Islam itself......."

I tend to believe that they hate us because of our freedoms and open society.
An Al-Qaeda Love Story: From Morocco to Bosnia to Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia, Via New Jersey

In 1969, my division officer, Lieutenant Andy Young, became tired of my liberal kumbay ya butt, and told me that I should read about Mao to find out what we were up against. The next time we pulled into Hong Kong for shore leave and liberty call, I went out and purchased an English translation of Mao's Little Red Book. Well I read a lot of it and the lights came on in my young adolescent brain. The Winds of Change started to come over me. Over the years I became complacent listening to the Mainstream Media (MSM) and their spin. I figured that I had better wake up and try to learn what is going on. I still am not sure where I will end up in this series. Hope you will stay with me long enough to learn a little. I may be dealing with copywrite material, so, I intend to provide you with a synopsis and a link to the site of my interest.

Serveral days ago at Orbusmax I found an interesting piece that was linked to MEMI titled, "An Al-Qaeda Love Story: From Morocco to Bosnia to Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia, Via New Jersey "Special Dispatch Series - No. 984 of the Middle East Media Reseach Institue."

In MEMI's Special Dispatch, I discovered an interview with Fatihah Mohammed Al-Taher Hosni, the wife of Moroccan Al-Qaeda member Abdel Karim Al-Tuhami Al-Majati. Al Majati was responsible for the May 2003 bombings in Riyadh. He was later killed by Saudi Security Forces. Fatiha herself was arrested in Saudi Arabia in March 2003. In the interview Fatiha spoke how she infludenced her her husband join the Jihad and how they became involved in Al-Qaeda. Fatiah described that they were "overjoyed" to hear about 9/11. This article will definately give you insight into the Jihadist mind set. The information is copywrited, so, I have provided the link to the Special Dispatch Series at MEMI. This interview will give you a glimmer into the life of Jihadists and a little of what makes them tick.

Who is Adam Gadahn?

A little digging on our Southern Californian Jihadist, Adam Gadahn turned up an interesting piece of information from Debbie Schussel @ http://www.debbieschussel.com/. I found this information compliments of Michelle Malkin's Blog

http://www.debbieschlussel.com/columns/column052804.shtml

In the article Ms. Schussel discussed Adam Gadahn’s, Imam, Muzammil Siddiqi, who at the time of the article (05/2004), was the Executive Director of the Islamic Society of Orange County. That mosque was the one that Gadahn attended. Ms. Schussel mentioned that Siddiqi is allegedly an extremist. "In 1995, Siddiqi praised jihad and martyrdom in the Kansas City Star. “Those who die on the part of justice are alive, and their place is with [Allah], and they receive the highest position, because this is the highest honor." Siddiqi also aspires to see the United States a Muslim country and that shariah should replace United States law. Canada just avoided an attempt to have shariah law rule Moslems in Canada. While researching the Canada issue, I stumbled across some shocking information that indicated our liberal tolerance crowd has also got their sights set on shariah law in the United States. It is not quite organized, but, is definitely coming our way. Keep in mind Siddiqi’s professed desires when you read the following links:

Because Ms. Schussel’s article is a copywrite site, I should best refer you to her website to gain more knowledge regarding Adam Gadahn, Muzammil Siddiqi, et. al. Stand by for additional shocking revelations when you dive in.

I have also included Michelle Malkin’s links from her site:

And before the anti-profiling absolutists start using Gadahn as their new poster boy, note that the FBI says he was just one member of a Khalid Sheikh Mohammed-hatched plot to blow up gas stations in the Baltimore area. The lead conspirator in the plot was Pakistani Majid Khan --a relative of convicted Pakistani al Qaeda operative Iyman Faris--who was sentenced last fall for his role in plotting to sabotage the Brooklyn bridge. Also reportedly tasked on the Baltimore bomb plot was Pakistani Uzair Paracha, charged last summer with aiding al Qaeda operatives seeking entry into the U.S.

A good friend of mine, my best friend in high school, sent this e-mail to me. I would like to share it with you.

"One of my sons serves in the military. He is still stateside, here in California. He called me yesterday to let me know how warm and welcoming people were to him, and his troops, everywhere he goes, telling me how people shake their hands, and thank them for being willing to serve, and fight, for not only our own freedoms but so that others may have them also.

But he also told me about an incident in the grocery store he stopped at yesterday, on his way home from the base. He said that ahead of several people in front of him stood a woman dressed in a burkha.

He said when she got to the cashier she loudly remarked about the U.S.flag lapel pin the cashier wore on her smock. The cashier reached up and touched the pin, and said proudly," Yes, I always wear it and probably always will."

The woman in the burkha then asked the cashier when she was going to stop bombing her countrymen, explaining that she was Iraqi.

A gentleman standing behind my son stepped forward, putting his arm around my son's shoulders, and nodding towards my son, said in a calm and gentle voice to the Iraqi woman:

"Lady, hundreds of thousands of men and women like this young man have fought and died so that YOU could stand here, in MY country and accuse a check-out cashier of bombing YOUR countrymen. It is my belief that had you been this outspoken in YOUR own country, we wouldn't need to be there today. But, hey, if you have now learned how to speak out so loudly and clearly, I'll gladly buy you a ticket and pay your way back to Iraq so you can straighten out the mess in YOUR country that you are obviously here in MY country to avoid."

Everyone within hearing distance cheered!

Study: TV Minimizes Iraqi Progress, Pushes Bad News Agenda

I have ranted about liberal bias in the past. It seems to rear its head several times a week when I read or watch MSM. While reviewing the news this morning, I found a well written article by Rich Noyes @ News Busters, October 14, 2005. Mr. Noyes is currently Research Director at the Media Research Center, where he is co-editor of the weekly Media Reality Check and Notable Quotables.

Mr. Noyes pointed out, as did Brent Baker, that MSM appears "were far more excited about the supposed scandal of the administration..." On the other hand, MSM has built a reputation of spining its own tales to promote its own agenda. So much for fair and balanced reporting, heh.

We have to analyze how MSM covers the war in Iraq. Mr. Noyes indicated in his article that "If the Iraq war is “increasingly unpopular” — and polls suggest it is — one reason may be because the broadcast networks have heavily skewed their news agenda toward the bad news coming out of Iraq: car bombings, U.S. casualties, terrorist attacks, squabbling among Iraqi politicians, etc., etc." I personally read the DOD news releases, Michael Yon, and a host of other "boots on the ground" embedded reporters and bloggers who have a much better perspective on the war. Mr. Noyes' article give a very good perspective in regards to MSM bias and how they minimize the progress that we have achieved in Iraq.

Mistakes of the past can be repeated in the future when we ignore the possible warning signs of terrorism.

In regards to my previous post: There is history of Jihadists acting out in such a manner and planning similarincidents in Europe, Israel, and other countries. It is not a matter of if, itis a matter of when it is coming to the United States of America. We denied that planes would be used in this country until 9/11/2001. We were caught ill prepared with our heads in the sand.

Come to think of it, we did know about airline bomb plots in the mid 1990s. There was an assassination plot hatched by Ramzi Yousef and Khalid Shaikh Mohammed in Manila in the early to mid 1990s, I think about 1993 – 1995. After the plot was broken up in 1995, the information was release to the news media. In about 1996, I was in Manila and personally spoke with Philippine police sergeant who was involved in rounding up some of the terrorists. He told me about a plot to use airlines to blow up and terrorize in several locations overseas using several US Airlines. This was to take place at the same time that Pope John Paul II was going to be assassinated. I think that Pope John Paul II may have been a diversion for the airliner events. The sargent went on to say that there was going to be a third strike in the United States afterward. Fortunately the plot was uncovered and stopped due to some mistakes that were made in a Manila hotel. These Jihadist turned out not to be so bright after all and made some gross mistakes and almost burned down a hotel in the process. Authorities discovered that Yousef and his Jihadist has already made several dry runs and were possibly linked to an explosion in Philippines airlines flight from Manila to Tokyo in December 1994 that killed on Japanese tourist.

Shortly after the World Trade Center disaster in 2001, the information regarding Yousef's plans were republished in the media. But, most of the mainstream media (MSM) did not take notice and the story died down. The 9/11 commission did not take much notice of those early years of al-Qaeda and middle east terrorism. My point is, we put our heads in the sand from the mid-1990s until 2001, so, we can do it again. The Oklahoma Bomber is a different type of terror action than Yousel was. But, we have to think outside the box and not ignore warning signs of something bigger in the works. Some of our public safety officials minimize the threat, whatever it may be, because to think outside the box would be more difficult. I found some additional sources of information besides my personal recollections and the write-up in Wikipedia:

Big 12 ramps up secu

Big 12 ramps up security after OU 'suicide' blast

Officials still maintain that the Oklahoma University student Hinrichs was an isolated incident with no radial Islam connections. Federal and state law enforcement agencies remain mum about the incident and the main stream media does not cover it like they cover other news. At least the Big 12 Conference is adding security for the coming games. This is a smart move. But, one must wonder, do they know something that we do not?

What I found amusing in the article was the comment that “media reports” indicted Hinrichs was depressed and alone. The kicker is that apparently there was Islamic Jihad material found in his apartment, he attended the same mosque as Zacharias Moussaoui, some reports indicate that he tried to enter the game but ran away because security was searching bags.

Gosh, maybe it is the water or maybe bad karma at the Mosque that would cause Hinrichs to act out is such an inappropriate and irrational manner. Maybe Zacharias Moussaoui was just an innocent bystander too. But, I seriously doubt it.

At any rate, things do not add up in this case. There is history of Jihadists acting out in such a manner and planning similar incidents in Europe, Israel, and other countries. It is not a matter of if, it is a matter of when it is coming to the United States of America. We denied that planes would be used in this country until 9/11/2001. We were caught ill prepared with our heads in the sand. Seems to me, someone is trying to minimize this story. I give Big 10 high marks for ramping up security. If we waited for it to come through official channels it may be to late. Read the story

Here are previous stories run in World Net Daily:
Oklahoma bombing search warrant sealed
OU bomber tried to buy ammonium nitrate
Oklahoma bomber had jihad material
Oklahoma U. bomber had huge explosives stash
Suicide bombing at Oklahoma University?

If you ask me, things do not add up. There appears to be more unanswered questions now than before. Mark Tappscott also has posted a wealth of information on his site. Additional links that were posted by Mark on his site:
