Mariners outfielder Ichiro has been named the Bank of America American League Player of the Week. Ichiro led all A.L. hitters with nine runs scored while batting .440 (11-25) with a double, a triple and two stolen bases. The two-time batting champion finished the month of May with a .371 average, 22 runs scored and nine stolen bases.
