Aside from all of you, the great listeners of the Rick Roberts Show, Michelle Malkin, Senator Mark Wyland, and Phil Thalhiemer have joined Rick in stopping the Sanctuary City Status of San Diego.
Let’s be the first Sanctuary City to stop it!
But… Our local officials are doing one of 3 things:
Playing Dumb.
Avoiding us.
Or, they are at least thinking about it.
And for those thinking about coming on our show… Thank you.
For those of you on “vacation” and/or or totally saying NO, that is very bad. Very very bad. You don’t want to be on that list… But a couple of you already are.
And for those of you who are trying to play clueless… you need to read this…
This is for you, COUNCIL PRESIDENT TONY YOUNG OF DISTRICT 4… Or SUPERVISOR BILL HORN OF DISTRICT 5.
YES! We ARE a sanctuary city.
Our city and county law enforcement both have policies of “don’t ask, don’t tell” when it comes to reporting illegal aliens.
Don’t believe me? Just ask a local police officer or border patrol.
Or better yet, just ask Congress: An August 14, 2006 report produced by the Congressional Research Service listed 31 cities and counties that have “don’t ask, don’t tell” sanctuary policies in place. They are:
Anchorage, Alaska Fairbanks, Alaska Chandler, Arizona Fresno, California Los Angeles, California SAN DIEGO, California San Francisco, California Sonoma County, California Evanston, Illinois Cicero, Illinois Cambridge, Massachusetts Orleans, Massachusetts Portland, Maine Baltimore, Maryland Takoma Park, Maryland Ann Arbor, Michigan Minneapolis, Minnesota Durham, North Carolina Albuquerque, New Mexico Aztec, New Mexico Rio Arriba County, New Mexico Sante Fe, New Mexico New York, New York Ashland, Oregon Gaston, Oregon Marion County, Oregon Austin, Texas Houston, Texas Katy, Texas Seattle, Washington Madison, Wisconsin
* Alaska and Oregon both have state-wide policies that forbid state agencies from using resources to enforce federal immigration law. Oregon law, however, does provide an exception to allow law enforcement officers to share information on immigration status with federal authorities with those arrested for criminal offenses.
On The Rick Roberts Show we have had callers report illegals driving cars through houses, drive without the basics of car tags or licenses, drive drunk, crash into property, you name it. And they get away scott free, because our law enforcement’s hands are tied by our city and counties desire to have a sanctuary city.
We are tired of looking the other way at the expense of United States Citizens lives.
Stop it.
Just join our fight. You’ll feel better.
