WHY did we allow this little tyrant into our country?

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made a fool out of us. Again. We invite him into our country with open arms… he holds a ‘Death To America’ rally on the eve of his visit.

We let him visit one of our nation’s Ivy League schools…

He denies the Holocaust, rails on about 9/11 conspiracies, criticizes Columbia University for the “insults” and “unfriendly treatment”- I mean, God forbid anyone questions this guy about the inhumanity of the rogue state in which he dictates.

The American media reported his Columbia University visit as it happened. The Iranian media reported an extremely well-received visit, chock full o’ standing ovations… (Hey, a standing ovation isn’t when people stand up to walk out.)

At Columbia, Ahmadinejad actually said that Iran “loves all nations.” He even said that HIS country- yes, folks, the nation of IRAN- is a great place for Jewish people to live. Much of the audience- comprised of 18-23 year olds- did not seem to grasp the severity of his “Israel should be wiped off the face of the planet” rants.

Many of these students called Ahmadinejad’s speech “brilliant.” One 19 year-old told a reporter that he “was able to get sympathy by the audience. He was able to connect with the audience.”

I stopped in my tracks and thought, my God, what’s with this audience? Then I remembered… Oh yeah, he’s talking to college students. He’s talking to a generation that inherently questions the very government that provides them safety from oppressive terrorist states like Iran.

Most drank up his words like Kool-Aide, but laughter erupted when the Iranian midget was questioned about the history of executions of homosexuals in Iran. Ahmadinejad actually said that there are NO homosexuals in Iran. (Umm… maybe not since you executed all of them, Mahmoud!!)

Columbia President Lee Bollinger thought that he could level the playing field after he told the press over the weekend that he would have invited Adolf Hitler to speak.

Sure, Bollinger called little Mahmoud a “petty and cruel dictator”… Sure, he said Ahmadinejad’s denial of the Holocaust is an insult to information and the knowledge of the audience… And sure, you can bet that the little tyrant has never before had those things said to his face as president…

But the crux of this is that a major university is so caught up in being open minded that they invited a known terrorist- a Middle Eastern Hitler- to impress his propaganda into the young mind.

Ahmadinejad’s destinations were certainly chosen carefully. Now, he will be speaking to the United Nations… An establishment chock full of hair-brained, globalist pacifists that we as taxpayers have the misfortune of giving aid to.
