Putin will not help USA with Iran. Duh

Saturday, July 16, 2006.
Let me explain the, "Duh." Everyone, and I do mean everyone except me, has declared the Cold War over. Could you please inform as to the fall of the KGB? How about the gulags? Putin speaks about restraint. Okay, let us criticize him then for killing all of those people in theatre when he was under attack by terrorists! No, my dear friends. The Cold War has never been over. It was a fantasy, now WAKE UP!

Why Putin will not help the US with Iran.
This is an article written by Amir Taheri for The New York Post explaining the situation. It is quite revealing.
Ganji will meet US officials.
Eli Lake has published an interview Ganji gave to The New York Sun. He had agreed to finally speak to some US officials, but not to ask for financial help. Instead, he wanted to ask the USA not to go to war with Iran.
Hezbollah attacks Israeli warship with an unmanned aircraft.
The Globe and Mail reported on the aircraft Hizbollah used to bomb the Israeli warship.
More in MSM point to Iran as the source of the present conflict.
The Wall Street Journal, I think, is finally facing the fact that maybe the whole Middle East will get involved at some point. They appear not to want Israel to finish what she did not start. David Ignatius wrote an article for The Washington Post in which he argues that Iran is itching for a war. However, like the coward that Ahmadinejad is, he is doing it behind the scenes. The New York Post has finally come to the same conclusion.
Here are a few other news items you may have missed.
  • The Washington Post reported that a a copy of the agreement that the Perm-5 plus 1 offered Iran was finally made public.
  • Mehran Riazaty reminded us of the history of Hezbollah of Lebanon, its ties with Iran and how this explains the recent crisis in the Middle East.

I do not usually do this, by Doctor Zin has done so much for us in providing us with all this news. He is having a slight difficulty financially, and that is why the posts are behind. He has had to find another job just to keep up the expenses. That is correct, he pays people to interpret Farsi and Persian into English.

If you could please find it in your hearts, there is a link you may use to donate to him so he may continue this much needed work. I appreciate and thank you very much.

Suzie at Assorted Babble had a great article about Putin.

It is here:

I agree, Russia will not help. They have their hands in too many things. The Cold War, it is only in a "Cease Fire"

BD

Thank you, Big Dog. I don't know, though. I have a feeling they're pretty active. They've been selling warships to China and NK. They've been selling other things as well.

BTW, I do not believe those missiles went 'missing' without Putin knowing about where they went and to whom. I do not trust the KGB! :)
