Many of us are familiar with the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force, but what do we really know about the activities of National Guard over this Autumn? I would like to introduce you to JAG Officer Spc Phil Van Treuren.
Spc. Van Treuren has been writing about his 'opportunity,' as he calls it, to rush to the aid of the victims of the Katrina hurricane this past year. He is trying to keep people aware of the humanitarian side of our great Military by naming his site Camp Katrina.
He keeps us in the know about what is happening after all the movie stars and news reporters have gone on to their next 'trophy' issue. Not Spc. Van Treuren. He is going to be there, so if you have any information, please share it with him. Also, please add him to your blogroll.
We may not have the 'old media', but that does not mean the 'new media' cannot keep people aware of those things which are important. Thank you. Have a great day.
PS. Happy 20,000 hits! Congratulations.
