Bill Clinton's former Treasury Secretary Lloyd Millard Bentsen, Jr. died earlier today at the age of 85. He was also a former senator (from 1970-1993 when he was tapped for the job of treasury secretary), and he ran unsuccessfully for vice president in 1988. He was a Texan Democrat, and they loved him. Those who did not love him, at least they respected him.
Here at the Bosun Locker and Knickerbocker News, our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones who have suffered this great loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. You have much to proud of and remember. God bless him, and may he now rest in peace.

Thank you again for the picture. I may have to 'borrow' them to put them on the other sites. lol.
Any time. He was a good man. RIP
Regardless of what you thought of his politics, he always acted like a gentleman. Even when he bashed Quayle in the debate he did it like a gentleman.
I wish his family the comfort and peace of our Lord in their time of sorrow.
Big Dog, He was a good man and well respected. We grieve at his passing.
Respectfully,
Bosun
