It's True. The Bitch is Dead!

Prime Minister al-Maliki has announced the death of al-Zarqawi. He was identified through his fingerprints. Iraq the Model has an article on this matter. ABC News is also reporting this as a fact. I guess everyone can now take a sigh of relief. I pray now for peace for the Iraqi people, the MNF, and of course, our men and women.

CONGRATULATIONS USA! CONGRATULATIONS MULTI-NATIONAL FORCES. CONGRATULATION IRAQI FORCES AND IRAQI PEOPLE. May God bless you bless you with peace and good governance! Let us refresh our memories, shall we? Zarqawi is the most wanted man by both the Iraqi government and the USA government. Why? Because he is a terrorist who beheads innocent people. He struck fear into people just by showing up. He would murder indiscriminately. He was a very violent man. Do not shed a tear for him. I can assure you, he would not do the same for you.

We have to learn that we do not lose our humanity by recognizing the enemy. Nor do we lose it by killing our enemies, especially when they have declared war against us. It does not matter whether or not we declared against them, which we did in the declaration voted on October 2002.

He was the scourge of the earth that needed to be deposed of and the quicker the better. Now maybe we will hear some news about bin Laden? I can only pray!

Update: I received this e-mail just a few minutes ago, and I thought you may want to read it.
As most of you know, there is some big news out of the CENTCOM area of operations this morning. Here is an excerpt from our press release:

BAGHDAD, Iraq – Gen. George W. Casey Jr., Multi-National Force-Iraq Commanding General, announced the death of al-Qaida in Iraq leader Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi in the following statement during a press conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Zalmay Khalilzad June 8:

"Ladies and Gentlemen, Coalition Forces killed al-Qaida terrorist leader Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi and one of his key lieutenants, spiritual advisor Sheik Abd-Al-Rahman, yesterday, June 7, at 6:15 p.m. in an air strike against an identified, isolated safe house.

The press release, as well as others, is available on our website www.centcom.mil. Thank you for your time.
Update 2: I have received the video from SGT Gehlen about when they bombed al-Gone-o. Zarqawi Airstrike is a silent film, but one worth watching! (Requires Media Player.)

Hat tip to Michelle Malkin: This is what he looks like now, after being cleaned. I cannot, for some reason, bring the before picture up onto this site. Oh well, I will try again later. May you rot in hell.

Update 3: Here is the transcript from President Bush' press conference this morning about the elimination of al-Zarqawi. H/t from Michelle Malkin.

Update 4: Here is an e-mail from Michael Yon:
I called one of the top American military leaders in Iraq to get his take on the latest developments, and our discussion ranged from the state of security in Iraq to the prospects for a military draw down. Command Sergeant Major Jeffrey Mellinger is a man worth listening to. Please click here for updates and to listen to the full interview.

Respectfully,

Michael
If you would like him while he is in Afghanistan, you may donate to this address:

Whatever you can contribute will be appreciated. I know. This was my idea to include this, since I contribute to him when I can. He is out there on his own. He is not hired by anyone, and we get the best news from him. Thank you.

Update 5: Hot Air also carries the video of this glorious event. :)

Rosemary, et. al.
We still have to dismantle the remaining al-Qaeda organization in Iraq, stone by stone. I hope this will slow down the violence a little on their western frontier.

There are a lot more Islamofacists left that need to be rounded up.

To the Iraqi Security and America Special Forces, coalition troops and the technicians and operators who helped with this operation, a job well done. God protect you, all.

Respectfully,
Bos’un
