“Every time an American soldier gets blown to smithereens in Iraq, we rejoice. God orders us to.” – Fred PhelpsAmerica’s Sickest Citizen Fred Phelps is doing his media whore routine again. Anybody ever tell this guy that PRIDE is a sin?
I say Phelps is prideful because he LOVES! LOVES! LOVES! media attention.
And his new spin to get on TV is to somehow link his hatred of gays to the War in Iraq. I know. I know. There is no link, but when you’re absolutely, without a doubt, clinically diagnosed, as an insane individual, you can make the link.
Here’s how Phelps defends his protests of our dead American heroes:
He hates gays America supports Gay rights America therefore is a sinful nationAmerica is involved in the War in Iraq Soldiers fight in the War So obviously the soldiers are gay loving sinners whose families need to be set straight during the soldiers funeral services. Makes perfect sense, if you’re a crazy media whore.
At one of the funerals of America’s brave soldiers Phelps described a deceased soldier he had never met as “a Christ rejecting pervert, who died for a pervert army, defending a pervert nation, and now he’s in hell.”
Heard enough?
I certainly have.
In my book, he’s the exact same as Cindy Sheehan.They both do “stunts” to get on TV. When will the networks learn to ignore them?
Think he’s not full of pride? Think this isn’t all about him? Read this quote…
“This nation is poised to trash the first amendment just to stop my preaching,” Fred Phelps said in a telephone interview. “I’m kind of honored.”
“I don’t have any sympathy for these parents. They’re all going to hell,” Phelps said pretending that he was God.
I do like what Mark Potok, the director of the intelligence project at the Southern Poverty Law Center said.
“This man (Phelps) probably thinks more about gay sex than any other person in the United States of America and one can only guess at what that means.”
Now…I don’t know if Phelps is gay, or if his like minded kin has no branches on their family tree, but I do believe that there is a hotter place in hell for Phelps and his ilk.

Oh… I almost forgot….
The ACLU is supporting Phelps saying this is a free speech issue.
So it’s free speech when you degrade the troops, but its illegal hate speech when you degrade homosexuals.
